What this site is, and is not
galapagosislands.info is an independent, unofficial guide. It is not the Galápagos National Park (Parque Nacional Galápagos), not the Consejo de Gobierno del Régimen Especial de Galápagos, not a tour operator and not a travel agency. We do not sell tours or tickets ourselves.
Where the information comes from
- Fees and entry rules come from official Ecuadorian sources (the Galápagos government and national park).
- Ferry times and prices, flights and airports come from operators and official pages where they publish them. Where only a secondary source exists we say so.
- Weather and wildlife come from the Charles Darwin Foundation, NOAA and published research where possible.
- Hotel prices are a measured snapshot of Google Hotels results for fixed dates, with the method on the page.
- Tour ratings, review counts and prices are what GetYourGuide showed on 2026-11-06. Prices were shown in Thai baht and are converted at the European Central Bank reference rate of 2026-11-05.
Sources are listed at the bottom of each page. Rules, fees and boat schedules change, so confirm with the operator or the official source before you travel.
How the site is paid for
